Lenny Kravitz

You Bled me And Loved me

You Held me And Smothered me

You Write me Down

And Read me Like An Empty Poem

he

he made me feel like roses were the colour of my arms

and made sure each blood stained memory was left to serve

he set the graphic tone of distress as i bled all over him

the scars that place like ink through a funnel

replenish my arm and these eyes that stare at the faceless world are pools of broken glass

scraped together so the streets may never smile again.

tata

riveting the embodiment of a soul woman

her body dipped in ruby wine

bold, words for eyes

her shine emulates as she speaks her verse

she speaks the stars truth

Streamline smiles that measure from ear to ear

wolf woman bleed through your vines

paint the world with your pictures

and gratify your visions spirit

untitled

She sinned and she sinned again

Everything that was wrong

It escalated till it was right

No feelings just sentences bathed in lies

And I say it again

stain

She wrote me with smiles on her face

Every inch beseeched within me

projecting letters of love compiled with words of loathing

she stood still before me entering my mind

licking at the thoughts

embracing the memories

feeling the sentiments

she hugged the walls within me and spread them open

she clung for life as she swept through my emotions

exaggerated feelings of intensity

the rejecting of intimacy

the lust of touch

waiting inside of me

wide eyed

wake up and strangle the day by its bright yellow shine

eat the dawn and swallow its nector and thrive off
